ARMA 2 is the third installment in the award-winning line-up of realistic modern military simulation games
from Bohemia Interactive.
We like to give you a history view around the BIS Gameline played in our Clan.
So what was before ArmA 2 ? All started with the world famous Operation Flashpoint (OFP). A
series of games began with Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis in 2001, produced by BI and published by
Codemasters. Codemasters then produced and published an add-on campaign for the original title called
Red Hammer. Then in 2002, BI produced another version of the game (as an expansion pack) called
Operation Flashpoint: Resistance. Later, a "Game of the Year" (GOTY) edition was published by Codemasters,
which included the two BIS games, plus the Red Hammer campaign. The next stepp was Armed Assault in 2006 at the 30th November in Germany. A bit later at the 28 of September in 2007 was coming the first expansion pack called ArmA: Queen's Gambit.
In 2009 at the 29th April was ArmA 2 released the newest military simulation game from Bohemia
Interactive. In June 29, 2010 BIS was brining out ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead as a standalone expansion.
At the 26th August 2010 BIS released ArmA 2: British Armed Forces (BAF) as downloadable content only.
Just a bit later at the 30th November 2010 already was comming out ARMA 2: Private Military Company ( PMC) what is at this moment the last Product from BIS.
